Winnie the Pooh Apple Tree

This tree mural was done in the "reading corner" of the playroom. This is an example of how a tree will look when it is painted in a corner. The corner of a room is generally a place where a higher focal point adds a lot. It is pleasing to the eye to see something there rather than just a dark space. This is why often times when you walk through a professionally decorated home or office they usually have something there like an artificial tree or corner bookshelf. It adds more dimension to the room as do all wall mural painting. The height of the tree also draws the eye upward making the room feel larger. Trees are a great thing to add even in small spaces like a play room cubby under the stairs.

Hailee's Room

So welcome to Hailee's Fantasy Tinkerbell Fairy room. . .

When creating this room I wanted it to be like a story book. This room seems to always be a work in progress with new ideas coming constantly. I wanted it to be full of fantasy and magic. I painted fairies, animals, flowers and trees. Hailee has claimed this as her own pixie hollow and loves it. It is one of my greatest joys to have her come in and tell me how beautiful it is. Who would have thought that a four year old's opinion could make such an impact on you.

I absolutely love vinyl lettering!! The best thing is your writing is straight, looks cute, comes in any size and color and is really easy to apply.

Tink in her workshop.

and some other fun things to look at. . .

Of course all the fairies have to have sparkly wings. They look really cool at night when the bedroom light is on.

How about a little Palm Tree action

Jaxynn you are such a cutie! I'm so glad you were here to be in my pictures!!
